Childrens Ministry > Childrens Worship
Worship for children is just as important as it is for adults. Recognizing this, First Baptist has age appropriate worship offerings for children on Sunday mornings during the regular worship service (10:45 am - Noon). This allows the children and adults to worship more freely.
Infants, Toddlers, and Pre-K
The focus for these age groups is to provide care and content during the worship. Children are welcome to stay in their respective rooms for the entire service.
Parents of children in these age groups will be given a Parent's Call pager. These silent pagers will allow the adult volunteers in each of those rooms to discreetly let a parent know when they are needed to tend to their child. It is our goal to allow parents to more actively participate during Sunday morning learning and worship opportunities, knowing that if their child has a need, they will be contacted.
KIDSTime
Grades K-5 are dismissed from the main service during the greeting. Children sing, play games, learn Bible stories, read Scripture and worship in their own way in this service. |
