Senior Adult Ministries (SAM) > SAM Activities
Activities:
- SAM Saturday
Meeting held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Each meeting has a specific theme centered around issues that seniors face.
Every other month we have a potluck lunch at noon; 1:00 pm on alternate months.
A calling network is available to keep in touch with seniors as well as inform them of meetings.
- Brown Bag Lunches
Seniors prepare a lunch and take it to share with a shut-in.
- Service Projects
Each year the group supports a special project that enhances or improves the life and function of the church.
- May Baskets
Annually SAM sponsors a churchwide appeal for donated items to fill baskets that are delivered to nursing home residents and housebound seniors.
